Ann Evans (1830), daughter of John Evans (c1796) and Susannah Preece (c1802), was baptised 29 Nov 1830 in Bridstow, Herefordshire. She married Edward Powell (c1830) on 29 Oct 1857 in Upton Bishop, Herefordshire. Edward worked as a Farm Labourer for most of his life and was born in Upton Bishop Herefordshire in about 1830.
Ann and Edward had three known children - Charles Edward, Amelia (believed to have died in early infancy) and Mary Jane. Over the years the family lived in Upton Bishop and in Drybrook in the lovely Forest of Dean area, Gloucestershire.

Amelia Powell was baptised on 29 Apr 1860 at Upton Bishop, Herefordshire. I believe baby Amelia died at age three months and was buried 05 Jun 1860 at Upton Bishop.
Mary Jane Powell 1862
Mary Jane Powell was baptised on 16 Feb 1862 in Ross-On-Wye. The family's address at the time was given as "Downs", close to Ross-On-Wye. In 1881 Mary Jane was working as a General Servant for a butcher and his wife in Homend St, Ledbury Herefordshire. She most likely married Thomas Taylor in Ledbury in 1886.
